About Snowball

Snowball is operated by Samuel Uy. By downloading, accessing, or using Snowball, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the app or website.

Using the app

Subject to these terms, you may use Snowball for your personal, non-commercial productivity. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or misuse Snowball, or use it in a way that violates applicable law or another person's rights.

Your local data

Snowball does not require an account. Tasks, focus history, preferences, and other app data are stored locally on your iPhone. You are responsible for your device, backups, and any data you choose to enter. Resetting local data or deleting the app may permanently remove information, subject to iOS backup behavior controlled by Apple.

Calendar and intelligence features

Calendar Constraints is optional and reads event times only to help fit work around meetings. Snowball does not change your calendar. On supported devices and locales, Apple's on-device Foundation Models may help shape work or draft task breakdowns. When unavailable, Snowball uses a local fallback. Recommendations are suggestions, and you remain responsible for reviewing them before acting.

Availability and changes

Snowball may be updated, changed, suspended, or discontinued. Features can depend on your iPhone model, iOS version, language, region, permissions, and Apple services. We may update these terms when the app or its practices change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated with any material revision.

Ownership

Snowball, including its software, name, visual design, text, and other content, is owned by Samuel Uy or its licensors. These terms grant you a limited right to use the app. They do not transfer ownership or grant any other intellectual property rights.

Disclaimers

Snowball is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. It is a general productivity tool, not medical, legal, financial, or emergency advice. We do not promise that the app will always be available, error-free, or suitable for a particular result. Do not rely on Snowball for emergencies or time-critical safety decisions.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Samuel Uy is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-data damages arising from your use of Snowball. Nothing in these terms limits a right or liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Apple terms

Your use of Snowball on Apple platforms is also subject to Apple's standard licensed application end user agreement. Apple is not responsible for Snowball, and Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it. Any support questions should be sent to uy.samuel.a@gmail.com.
